14.09.2020

Alexander Beglov, Governor of the Northern capital, discussed the development of the Saint Petersburg energy hub with Alexander Dyukov, Chairman of the Gazprom Neft Management Board.

Energy technohub «Saint-Petersburg» will bring together the competence of leading innovative companies of Russia and other countries. The hub project includes the creation of a digital center for the development of new solutions in the energy sector, including in the oil and gas industries. Companies that register on the online platform will have access to the business plans of the largest players in the energy market, and in the future will be able to offer them their developments.

Governor Alexander Beglov noted that the main goal of creating an energy hub is to attract non-resident and foreign technology companies. Thanks to technohub, enterprises and research centers will be able to obtain large orders in the energy sector, he added.

For today, more than 20 domestic companies and an Austrian company have shown interest in the project, and negotiations are underway with one hundred companies that can become residents of the hub.
