Serbia and Russia have agreed to create an oil transportation infrastructure

Serbia and Russia have signed a memorandum of cooperation in the energy sector, which provides for the creation of an oil transportation infrastructure in Serbia. The agreement was reached following a meeting of the intergovernmental committee of the two countries and signed by the largest oil and gas companies of Russia and Serbia.

Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov said that the memorandum will become the basis for the development and maintenance of infrastructure, which will strengthen energy cooperation between the countries.

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Volin expressed gratitude to Russia for gas supplies at fair prices and for the fair treatment of Belgrade.
