18.05.2024

In August 2024, the first stage of construction of the Sakhalin Oil and Gas Industrial Park, located in the north of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, will be completed.

Within the framework of the project, three administrative and laboratory buildings will be opened and the entire engineering infrastructure will be completed. This is reported by the press service of the Government of the Sakhalin region.

The industrial park will become a home for oilfield service companies that will be able to rent fully equipped premises. Resident enterprises will also receive benefits within the framework of the Yuzhnaya Advanced Development Area (TOP).

The governor of the Sakhalin Region, Valery Limarenko, noted that the project is of strategic importance, allowing the creation of a new industry on the island.

Construction is actively continuing. The main works on water supply and sanitation have been completed, and work on electricity and highways is planned to be completed by the end of June. The second stage of construction includes the formation of 13 land plots with connection to engineering infrastructure and landscaping. Most of the industrial park’s areas have already been reserved.

Resident companies will be engaged in the repair of pipelines, gas turbines, electric motors, generators, as well as underwater maintenance and transportation of oversized cargo.
