According to Vortex, India imported 1.96 million barrels of oil per day from Russia in May. This is 15% more than in April. At the same time, in April, according to S&P Global Platts, Urals in India cost $14 per barrel below Brent, the discount on it has decreased by $5 since the beginning of the year.
It is worth noting that in early May it became known that India was becoming the largest supplier of petroleum products to the European Union. The country has even overtaken Saudi Arabia in this indicator.
